Michael J. Fox, born June 9, 1961, in Canada, is a Canadian-American actor. He gained worldwide fame for his role as Marty McFly in the 'Back to the Future' trilogy. He won three Emmy Awards for the series 'Family Ties'. Diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 1991, Fox founded the Michael J. Fox Foundation and has raised over $1.5 billion for research. He received an Honorary Academy Award in 2023.
