Patrick Magee (March 31, 1922 - August 14, 1982) was an Irish actor who played the Chevalier du Balibari in 'Barry Lyndon' and the writer in 'A Clockwork Orange'. He played important roles in Samuel Beckett's plays. He was one of Stanley Kubrick's favorite actors.
