12 Angry Men (1957)

12 Angry Men is a 1957 American courtroom drama film directed by Sidney Lumet. Adapted from Reginald Rose's play of the same name, the film is about a jury member's efforts to convince the other eleven jurors that the defendant is not guilty, based on reasonable doubt. The film is notable for being shot almost entirely using a single set. It was Sidney Lumet's directorial debut. The 96-minute film was made with a budget of $340,000.
